Nhac pham Ruou Sau / Bai Tho Em Bé An Xin

Phận đói nghèo đâu phải lỗi do Em!

A little Girl Begs In street

My poor little girl! How torn your dress thou’rt wearing !
How old’re thee to meet with this worst situation?
Where’ s your house ? why’ d be here fore awaiting
A bowl of soup leavings given up by unknown person?

Your hands’re shakingly carrying it as prudently taking care of!
Who thou’rt looking at? What thou’rt afraid of ?
Thou’rt also youth like other peers with the same age,
Why didn’t they give thee the Red Tie as their hepl

To save thee out of such a mediocre living at the sidewalk?
Or thou’rt from a family of “Puppet troops”
Thy father’s now in the jail for years of labor works!
Where they called a school for reeducating campus

Is they mother still taking care of foods and clothes?
Or she’s gone by poisonous wilas on the way
visiting thy Father in the forest ?
Or she’s still alive through tribulations & woes
That’d be for climical therapy & waiting for death?

When seeing thee I couldn’t stop shedñing tears
It’s not thy fautl to go poor wiith fear!
There’s nothing in this life that the heart can win over
In the miñle of such a society of new ghost & monsters!

I’m resultingly stooping to ask thee for excuse
This country isn’t belong to me only
However, I still repent for my past of halflife
And this Homeland’s counted as a past generation of mine!
